Hi and welcome to MLG Community Interviews! Thanks for taking the time to do this with me. To get things going. How and when did you get started with MLG?
When I first got H3 in '08,I was looking on You Tube at the Halo 3 montages and some of the Halo 2 ones and I saw a MLG top 10 video.It might been the first Halo 3 top 10, but I could be wrong.It was really cool, so I visited the MLG website. I lurked the forums and just watched the Halo VOD for a while before I joined the website.I wish I could have found MLG long before I did because I guess you could say I missed the Golden years.
Awesome. This is the first time I've heard of someone finding out about MLG through the top 10 videos. So how did you come up with the name Harrison?
The Beatles are my favorite band, and George Harrison was known as the "Nice and peaceful one of the group." I’d like to think of myself as a nice guy. For the most part I'm nice and if there has been a time I've been a di*k to someone I'll take this opportunity to say I'm sorry man. <3
You are a nice guy and no one can say otherwise! So I know you don't live here in the states but have you ever considered going to an event? Or do you plan on staying home and watching online from your comfy chair?
First off I've watched every single event since I got into MLG even though I have to stay up very late sometimes but its worth it. I would love to go to an event, not to just watch the pros play but to maybe meet some of the cool people I've found from this community. If I ever go to the United States I'll make sure it’s when an event is going on. If I go I'll make sure I bring SamRambles and Sjenkske with me. It would be a blast man.
Yea be sure to let me know if you ever do plan on coming to one. So after the placings at Dallas, do you have any predictions for Columbus?
I don't really watch Black ops or SC2. For Halo Reach, I think Final Boss can go all the way now with Roy and Lunchbox. On paper they are by far the best team coming in to Columbus and the probably the most individually skilled. Ogre2 is the GOAT and belongs on top in any Halo game. I hope Power can do better this time around as well.
The new Final Boss looks sick! But it is a new game so we will have to wait and see how Columbus turns out. What do you think about MLG's choice to only have three games on the circuit this year instead of more. Also what are your thoughts about the games currently on the circuit?
I've only ever watched Halo but SC2 has a very big fan base and I've been told by so many people the game takes so much skill and is very enjoyable to watch. I'm planning on watching the SC2 streams for Columbus. I did enjoy watching Halo Reach, the game did get a lot of hate and still does but hopefully as the season goes on the game will get more love.
I do recommend to anyone that they watch the SC2 stream. Halo Reach was surprisingly more entertaining than I thought it would be. Well it is now time to help the noobies out there. What advice can you give to newer members just learning/getting to know about MLG and the community?
The best advice I can give to someone joining the forums is just be yourself and then hopefully people will like you. If I were you I would and lurk the forums for a while and see if it looks like a place you will fit in. You get to experience the community first hand and you learn some of the little tricks even before you start posting. This place is begging for new posters now though so please come join us. Its pretty easy to find out about MLG now as well due to all the You Tube videos and the MLG playlists. I can't really give advice for someone attending an event for the first time because I have never been to one!
Wow amazing advice! Moving right along. Where do you think MLG will be in the future? Also, what do you think MLG should do to get its name out there for more people to recognize?
Hmm the future of MLG I can one day see "MLG London" yes that is my dream to have MLG in England. The most MLG can do to get more people to recognize it is to get more sponsors and maybe add more games to the circuit but I know Sundance is doing everything he can to make MLG as big as he can. In Sundance we trust.
I'm sure MLG has had some talks about going overseas. Now it's time for the random question from POLiSHPiMP part of the interview. He asks: How much are you worth in gold?

Nice! That is a lot of gold bars. Do you think MLG could last without a Halo game?
Yeah for sure, SC2 is getting huge now and it just shows that MLG could last without a Halo game. It would be very weird to watch and MLG event with no Halo game but times change I guess. But for now I can see Halo Reach lasting at least two seasons. And who knows 343 might make a very good Halo game.
Yea 343 is being hush hush about it though. I guess we will wait and see. So what are your thoughts about the new forums so far? What do you like? What don't you like? Is there anything you would like to see in the future?
I'm not a fan of the new forums at all. I like the "IM Chat", my profile, and how it shows my last five threads/posts and my total post count. Besides that I don't like the new forums. The new rep system is a joke I mean just look at "Freedoms" rep count, he does seem like a troll and all but -3k rep? come on..and I really miss the "newposts" button, I have like 4 tabs open just to see what's going on in the other parts of the forums besides OT. If I had the new posts button I wouldn't need to do that.
Hopefully MLG fixes some of the complaints that the community is voicing out loud. If you had to pick 3 other forums members in the MLG community to compete with, who would they be and why?
RevolutionaryDreamer because he is my best friend from the forums and plus he is in the enemy's base all the time pulling the flag. SamRambles makes me laugh so he needs to be part of the team and Sjenkske because we need someone that is good at the game lol.
Haha great group of guys. Alright last question before the speed round. Where do you see yourself in the future with MLG?
Maybe I'd like to be a mod one day but for now I'm happy just being a poster. MLG can only get bigger and as long as it does not go away I will alwayys be a part of it in my own little way.
