Banned Teams vs Legitimate Matches

Right now there's a difference of BAN's and how they effect games that specific BANNED players plays while avoiding a ban. If it's a serious crime(submitting fake proof) each games would be reviewed and most likely reverted. If it's a petty crime (like lying on a dispute or not showing up to games) the games would still be counted as for some reason they are considered legitimate matches

I believe that any team/player that has been playing games from the second they were banned to any future games until their ban timer is up, should be considered illegitimate games and they should not be counted.
No matter what the ban is, if its a serious crime or a petty crime. The players are considered BANNED. If a player is BANNED they are not allowed to play any games during that time.

Just like in the judicial system, There are serious crimes where you spend 20 to 30 years in Jail, and there are petty crimes that you spend only a couple days or weeks. No matter what the crime is, you were sent to Jail.

If a player avoids a ban and creates another account and starts playing games. ALL of those games should be deleted and not count towards any record.
If you escape Jail you can't just go on about your daily life and act like it never happened. Your assets are frozen, meaning you shouldn't be able to play games and they still count to everyone. You can escape jail and buy business and restaurants and sign the papers. Your life is frozen.

Right now I see players/teams that are playing 100 percent fairly making sure they follow every rule. Even if they win or lose against a BANNED player, none of it should count towards that team that played fairly. The system is rewarding the BANNED player by saying "Hey good job you avoided a ban, lets keep those games you played in tact and ruin other team's records, even though you shouldn't have played at all, because you were banned".

Another way to view it is a technicality. The banned player should be considered ineligible to play in any future games until their ban timer is up. If someone miswrites their gamer tag and play, they are considered ineligible until they fix it. All games they play until fixing it are considered illegitimate and will result in the other team winning no matter what. However for this case its completely opposite. A BANNED player who has broken the rules of Game Battles, not once but twice now by avoiding a ban, is considered eligible to play in those matches during his ban. The games count against the other team even though the player was banned. Regardless of how serious the ban is, it's still a ban.

Any games that have happened while a player is avoiding a ban and also on a ban timer should be deleted and not count towards any team.

Please review and discuss.

Thanks, a concerned GB player.

This is already a thing, if a player gets banned for evading a ban just submit a ticket with the match ID you played him in and the match will be cancelled.

No it isn't. The games still stand whether its a win or a loss because they weren't BANNED for a serious crime. Regardless of the crime a BAN is a BAN and the games should not stand.

The players that have played him have no idea he was banned.

Yeah to clarify this issue is specifically regarding the Clash Royale ladders. Let's look at an analogy; a football player is caught speeding in February and charged for the offense in March. The matches he played between that time are not then all forfeit as the offense in question is completely unrelated to those matches played. However, then in April he while still banned from playing football matches for the February offense that he was charged for in March, he disguises himself (makes a new GameBattles account) and plays several matches before speeding and being charged again for the offense. Whether he is charged in April or May for the April offense should not matter because he had the preexisting ban from March that he circumvented so none of the matches that occurred after the first ban should count.

The issue appears to be that GameBattles cannot implement an effective IP ban so the same bad actors actually in-game only have their GB accounts banned and simply make a new account and continue to attempt to cheat the system. It is really detracting from the overall fair play player experience when the cheaters seem to be prospering just because they can work the GameBattles dispute system more effectively and their only punishment is an account ban that they can simply circumvent by making a new account or it is an offense deemed as "not serious". It is unclear to me why you would want cheaters of any type continuing to play on the GameBattles ladder and decreasing the overall experience for everyone else...particularly people like the .:BoW.To.Me:. or Pevant characters who seem to have complaints lodged against them on a day-by-day if not a match-by-match basis.

Would you explain why we would want repeat offenders to continue to abuse the GameBattles system and player base? Not addressing legitimate players' concerns (especially repeated ones) will not help promote the truly fair/competitive environment we all want to promote long-term growth?

Matches involving banned players will be cancelled in most circumstances.

That's the thing, the teams that played the BANNED players have NO IDEA that the team was supposed to be BANNED and they aren't going to go back and check to see every single time they play a game. They need to automatically be deleted as soon as they ban the players again for evading their first ban.
